The full CEREC system consists of a 3D camera, a computer imaging system, and a milling machine.
It works like this:
- Intraoral cameras take high definition, extremely accurate images of your teeth. From those images we can use CAD software to create a 3D model of your mouth.
- Because of that precise digital model, we can design your new replacement or restoration right there while you wait.
- Those designs are sent to the milling machine, where they are crafted for you with no need to make you come back to the office later.
- You can walk out with your new teeth in the same visit, thanks to breakthrough CEREC technology. That way, you can spend more time on the things that matter to you most!
What’s more? The new same-day porcelain crowns, veneers, or inlays are milled from ceramic material that closely matches the properties of your natural teeth, making them both beautiful and durable, with no drop in quality.
